"Let me try again. I thought I left a review and it was taken down. So we are cash purchasers who stopped in, looked at homes, and then met with a salesperson. He said he would get some specs for us and then get back to us. We told him we were only available for the next 5 days. We told him that we would LOVE to do business with him and that we are DEFINITELY purchasing a home. Long story short, he never ever got back to us. We went in on April 27th and today is May 13th. You can't even give your money away lol and SMH. I guess the owner has so much business that they are actually turning customers away. When we called the business back, we were given his cellphone number. We left messages and texts--crickets. We then received a call from a woman who apologized profusely and said it was her fault because she was told to get the specs. She promised to "get right on it". I guess her "get right on it" means by Christmas 2023. The original sales guy still hasn't reached out to me. I guess he's too busy NOT earning money. Thankfully we found a home and it will be ready in about 6 weeks. I love when businesses show their true colors BEFORE I give them my hard earned $$$. Thanks Clayton Walterboro for NOT hiding your incompetence."

"Simply they stated I could get s custom home how ever when it came to finishes different manufacturers didn't allow for things like cabinet color and they pretty much refuse to install the same cheap vinyl on the master bedroom and livingroom when requested astronomical number of 7k was quoted for 2 rooms and if you ask me I do not believe there's is no padding under cheap carpet I spent over 100k I was very disappointed the only other survey at the beginning was about sales questions I did not have to be sold I was looking for the right home after a while i was not happy with having to choose what was available or allowed nothing was custom"

"Had to give Clayton Mobile Home in Walterboro at least one star to post. Still waiting for my master bathroom tub to be fixed and my ceiling in the other bathroom. It’s sad that you took my review down all you have to do is fix the problem. Ms. Toni you make it seem as if you care about your customer only thing you care about is the money you received. My mobile home is paid in full since May of 2021. Live up to your end and do what’s right. If you call yourself a Christian. Remember a cake doesn’t fix the problem."
