"I lived at The Palmer, formerly known as Brooke Mill for nearly 5 years. It was the last complex in the area that was reasonably priced. New owners came in mid last year and if you were not smart enough to ask, you were blind sided with a 30 day notice to vacate so they could renovate 6 year old apartments that had nothing wrong with them. My rent was going to more than double for a coat of paint and new countertops. The picture attached was my daily view from my bedroom window, far from the "luxury" style they are claiming to have. I was given a complete run around about my deposit. 5 years, never late with rent and I left the apartment looking brand new. For weeks I could not get ahold of anyone, via phone or in person. PLEASE keep all documentation from this place as proof, they WILL try to keep your deposit. It wasn't until I emailed corporate stating SC laws that I was finally contacted (10 minutes later) to come get my deposit. Greed and games is all you will find here. Do yourself a favor, especially if you have children and move into Bluffton for the same price and MUCH better school district."

"Would not recommend living here . You would think that with the rent going up almost $800-900$ more there would be better security measures. No they arent ! The front is never helpful and if they are it is a very select few ! There has been massive car theft in this complex they do not care about , multiple illegal activities. Its not a safe complex i would invest my money somewhere else . Maybe to the complex next door !"
