"I would strongly NOT recommend Zone 7. We did a 6 figure project with them. It took more than 9 long months. The gaps between workers showing up were weeks, sometimes months. Nobody owns the project. Nobody knows when they are coming. They dig stuff up and then disappear for days or weeks. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Crew B messes up what Crew A finished. Crew A comes back to fix it and you get billed, a second time. Equipment broke down regularly and sat in my yard waiting for the mechanic. As others have noted, Lance is tempermental and difficult to work with. Damage to legacy landscaping was done with the promise of repair afterwards then Lance refused to fix the damage unless we paid even more $. Although we always paid promptly, there were significant accounting errors and duplicate billings. Irrigation was improperly designed leaving us with soggy spots and dry spots on new sod. The masons actually *buried* their garbage in our mulch rather than throw it away. Every time it rains I find bent nails, sharp lath wire, and .22 shells (from a nail gun) in my yard. As the project went further and further off the rails, Lance stopped showing up. They simply cannot manage big jobs. We've had to spend several thousand $ to fix/finish what Zone 7 refused to complete. Very disreputable company. Stay away."
