"I personally as a rule don’t write “Reviews” however my residence with Church Street Apartments, particularly the support and care iI received from Ms. Lisa was truly EXCEPTIONAL. The building was extremely well kept, no unwanted guest (bugs, rodents) and the “Church street family” as Lisa calls US. allowed for a peaceful no drama stay. Would recommend her to ALL that ask, only concerned would be that if too many find out there may not be room available for me.."

"My first interaction with Lisa Myers was over a year ago when I was driving through Central, SC. She is the owner of Church Street Apartments. I am a grad student at Clemson and was looking for housing options for the future. I spoke with her about the units and she was kind enough to even show me a unit that same day. I told her I would keep it in mind and let her know if I ever needed housing. Fast forward to October 2020. I will be back in the Clemson area in January and was starting to look for housing. I texted her and she said that she wouldn’t possibly have a unit for me because several people would be moving out. She was very sweet and even said she would give me a 6 month lease instead of 12. I filled out the application and sent it to her. I said that I would send the deposit once I knew my unit. I was not completely comfortable living on the back side of the complex because I usually come home very late from school. I checked in several more times and was told, “I should know a unit very soon”. I never heard about a unit so I began my search again. I was looking for a one bedroom for a good price so my options were very limited. I found one near the end of November. I was raised right and taught to respect others, so I texted her on December 9th just to be courteous and let her know that I hadn’t heard back from her so I had found another place to live. Reference the screenshots below. Her first 2 texts were polite, but her third text was completely out of line and unprofessional. It wasn’t a personal jab at her, she just never got back to me. This was a business relationship not a personal one. There was no way for me to know that I had an apartment waiting for me. I did not respond after she sent the last text, so she tried to call me. Her call had a brief apology, but mostly it was telling me about how “she’ll have no trouble filling my unit” and telling me “the lesson she was trying to get across to me”. I feel like this was handled completely wrong. If I had been texted “hey, I have a unit with your name on it and it’s on the front of the complex” then I would have put my deposit in the mail and started packing. Instead, I never received a text like that so I have no idea. I would encourage you to think twice before living at church street apartments in Central, SC. Again, I’m not trying to be malicious or tear down a small business, but I was honestly shocked at the lack of professional conduct when it was completely unwarranted."
