"Traveled to Greenville from out of state to preview some apartments for a relocation. Called all area properties I was interested in and this one made the "short list". Explained to the person I spoke with that I was traveling from out of state and did not know exactly when I would be at the property. Showed up at the property and, during "office" hours, the door was locked. Had someone come to the door and VERY rudely say that the office was closed. Tried to explain the situation and she just repeated, "Well, the office is closed right now". No explanation, no apologies, no letting me know when they would be open again. She asked if we wanted to schedule an appointment for later in the day, however, after the extremely rude demeanor, I decided that is not the place for me. If you treat a potential tenant that way, then I am sure the current tenants are not treated very pleasantly. I would think that staff would be more welcoming to potential residents. Found another complex where the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we saw what we needed to see and that all questions were answered."
"I lived at Abberly Market Point Apartments for close to 2 years. I would not recommend living here or any other HHHunt Properties. I would not recommend buying any HHHunt properties. I had to terminate my lease early because I needed to care for my mom. The community manager stated that it is a 60 day notice and a 2 month early termination fee. I emailed confirming my 60 day notice and the reply I received stated that a move out acknowledgement email with the cost for the final months would be received within 24-48 hours. I received the move out acknowledgement email 26 days later. When I received the email, 26 days later, the total cost to include 2 months rent (60 day notice) and 2 months early termination fee was $5,862. I questioned paying close to $6,000 because I had to break my lease after living at Abberly close to 2 years and being an excellent tenant. The attitude was that it was my problem and there was absolutely no understanding or helpful advice. Out of frustration and curiosity, I called around to different Greenville apartments with the same amenities and standards for living. Most of these developments did have a 60 day notice but also said it was negotiable and they try to work with the tenant. All but two developments said early termination buy out was one month's rent. Then I went back over my original lease and compared it to my lease I renewed 18 months later. To my surprise, the original lease I signed, the early termination buy out was one month's rent- $1,715. I was under the impression that when you renew your lease everything pretty much stays the same except the rent may increase. A corporation should strive for transparency. Certainly when I renewed my lease in July, it was not being transparent or honest changing the early termination buy out to 2 months from one month and the information being located on page 16 of the lease after the bed bug addendum. Also, hard to understand is that if a new tenant just started to rent the same exact apartment I did, their rent would be $1,774; whereas mine was $1,875 after living at Abberly for a year and a half. When I questioned the large increase in my rent, I was told that it was fair market value. Would not that hold true for the exact same apartment for everyone, including new tenants? HHHunt's vision, mission, and brand promises, focus on respect, trust, and customer satisfaction. HHHunt's promises are just words because one- my rent was raised almost 10% from $1,715 to $1,875 when the typical rent in the Greenville and surrounding areas, taking market value into account, was raised 5%, two- communication, attention to detail, and follow through did not happen with my early termination request, and three- accountability- the reasonable thing in this situation would have been to acknowledge that the return email did not come 24-48 hours after notice was received and early termination fee increased to two months when renewing, which is not standard practice. A 60 day notice and a 2 month termination fee is the same as a 4 month early termination fee. Unfortunately, when I contacted the community manager, Kara Morian and the regional manager, Melinda Dunford, the conversation was not sincere but just patronizing lip service. Then I contacted, through email and phone, the Senior Vice President, Lance Armstrong. I never received any communication back. Finally, I contacted the CEO of HHHunt Homes, Buck Hunt and did not receive any response from him either. There was not even an inkling of some accountability on HHHunt's part or even a slight hint that this would be looked into further to see if there were other options. There are so many other apartment developments and housing communities that are transparent and genuinely respect and appreciate their clients. Living in an HHHunt community is not one of them."

"Elizabeth provided the BEST tour I have ever taken in my ~10 years of living in apartments. She genuinely cared about the community, provided a ton of information, answered all questions, and most importantly showed kindness. I would absolutely recommend getting a tour from her and know she represents this community very well."
