Reviews of Oak Ridge at Pelham
"The very best part of living here is that the Maintenance team works hard to take care of the residents with what they have to work with. Joel the Maintenance Supervisor and Joe go above and beyond to address work orders quickly and efficiently.. They know what they are doing and problems are fixed in less than 24 hours, even within 12 hours or Iess. I know this firsthand because I was both a 'team member and a resident so I saw both sides of the coin. Oak Ridge is older than most properties in the area so yes, there are issues. The prices are higher than you would expect for such an older community. There are positive things about the community but as it is with most multi-family apartment complexes, you will always have residents that feel they can do as they please with little or no regard for rules. The office sends out emails to those who violate said rules but hardly anything is ever done to enforce them."
"So, I wasn’t going to say anything. I was going to leave the whole situation alone, but it’s eating me alive. I just want to say that I lived here for three years in total. Two years in one building and one year in another. For two years I dealt with my apartment flooding EVERY TIME it rained. I’m not even talking about just a little water here and there. See pictures for proof. I’m talking puddles that I could play in. After ELEVEN times of my apartment flooding and ruining some of my belongings I told them I needed to be moved or I was going to break my lease. They agreed to let us move into another apartment where I still had to put a deposit down again and pay more fees to move into. At that point I didn’t care because at least my apartment was going to flood. The WHOLE time this is happening maintenance was AMAZING. Scott was the best. He always made sure that he did everything he could to help solve the issue of the flooding. However, we (maintenance and I) kept being told that the issue was fixed by the contractors that Amanda kept having come out. WAS NEVER FIXED. I’m almost 100% sure that there’s mold in the apartment from how much it was flooding. Amanda the property manager. Don’t even get me started on her. Her attitude sucks. Her daughter and all of the people that live in that apartment with her are awful. They smoke weed all over the complex. The Children/ child screams all hours of the night. The apartment complex itself is trashy because they let whoever move in. The whole place is going downhill and nobody including the owners seem to care. Literally the only good thing about this place is Scott, Joe, Joel, Heather and Kelly. There is so much that they could do with this place if they just listened to their employees. They also tried to charge me 800$ for a carpet that was not only damaged when we moved in, but also hadn’t been changed in at least three years. (That’s how long the tenant before me lived there)."
"I have several favorite things about my apartment community. It’s clean and has lovely landscaping. There is a place to wash and vacuum my car. The office staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to go beyond the norm when I have questions. And at the top of my list is the response I get from maintenance requests. Scott and the crew fix whatever problem we may have quickly and without fuss. I’m so very happy to have moved into this beautiful, cheerful community."
"Great management and maintenance team! Kelly and Heather at the front office are amazing for whatever you need and Scott on the maintenance team will get your request done quick and is very friendly! Nice and updated apartments and great space! Bathrooms could use some work and updates in the showers and baseboards but other than that great work! Never have any neighbor issues and parking is perfect for always having a spot!"
