Copper Penny Grill Rutherfordton

"I've recently moved to Rutherfordton and have been wanting to try this place out so when my son and daughter in law called wanting to go I was like yesss! We were a bit disappointed though! My son and I ordered steak cooked medium but both were well done and the texture was not that of steak at all. After a couple of chews it became mushy. It was like they had sat in marinade way to long! Yes they were tender but not in a good way! And the lettuce for the salads was wilted. Probably from sitting out in the warm/hot kitchen. It was hard to chew and I kept getting strangled on it. Okra, sweet potato fries and broccoli were really good."

"We were really excited to come here based on the large footprint and outside seating. There were several staff working, but it took an extremely long time to order, get our food, ask for drink refills, and pay. I got the street tacos from the specials menu and by no means were they street tacos. There was nothing fresh or authentic about them - it was extremely underwhelming for the amount I paid with no sides. The Philly sandwich was alright, but a little disappointing. may be a cool hangout for drinks, but I'm not sure I'd want to come back based on this experience."

"When i tell you this is the best customer service i have ever received! We went for my brother in laws bday and we dodnt know there were multiple copper penny grills! Turns out our party was in several different locations. We changed our table and amout of people several times. They still managed to seat us all and get our food to the table! Our servers were amazing! The shrimp tacos were great too!"
