"I find that the some of the employees are rude, I call to ask a question and was put on hold and then they hung up. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but I think I’m going elsewhere to do my shopping. The meats are out of date anyway. Food Lion has really huh gone down."

"Read dates and check produce thoroughly! Expired items plague this location. From red meat that has browned and seafood that has been relabeled with new dates, to bags of coffee and top brand creamers, I've experienced foods well past their prime at this local market. Coffee that I purchased on 10-8-23 had a best buy date of 08-07-23 (check the photos for the coffee bb date) Recently, I was in to grab a salmon fillet, and noticed that one was best before the day I was there. Upon my next trip in, the same, expired salmon remained on the shelf without a date... Then, a separate visit about a week after the first, the same piece of salmon remained available, except the date had been replaced with a new date sticker! What was once an up and coming market has reverted to down and falling, and with expired dates being replaced by new dates, it's becoming a local health concern. There is no loss to a chain store when they remove products from the shelf, however there is loss when customers can no longer trust that the products that they purchase are not past their shelf life... Unfortunately expired dates are not the only issue with this location, as multiple times I've had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with certain staff members. Some are simply rude however one of the managers is completely hateful, to the point of lowering herself to speak to customers without any semblance of self-control. At first I had dismissed her attitude as I was in late, however after a few months of seeing her respond to customers with no sense of respect, I can only imagine that this is her everyday attitude. Unless forced, I will be skipping this location on my grocery run, and honestly for your safety and health, I hope that you will do the same! Unfortunately this is not possible for everyone...
