"My 2nd delivery from R & D Delivery Co. with Jeremy & his partner went well. They got my replacement refrigerator in without any issues (as of yet) and listen to what we had to say about how to get it in the house. They were professional and helpful. Thank you so much Jeremy and to your co-worker!! BUT... my 1st experience with R & D Delivery Co. wasn't so great! The 2 guys, never measured the fridge or door and tried to smash the fridge into the house, which caused it to be scratched and broken. They then took the fridge back outside and measured to see what the problem was. Then they ordered a new door to replace the broken one, but did it all in Spanish, so I had no idea whom they talked with or if the door was even ordered. So I had to make phone calls to Home Depot, Home Depot Delivery line, and R&D Delivery, all within 24 hrs. After all that, I had been on the phone with at least 6 people and had a new problem of the ice machine was leaking inside & outside. By day 2 of my fridge being delivered, I had to called Home Depot and demanded a new refrigerator. With this in mind, I asked what delivery company would be used and they said it might be R & D again, but they would request different delivery people. Well, when my call came on Thursday and my 2nd fridge was supposed to be delivered on Friday...I called back, left a message, and asked to make sure it was not the same 2 delivery guys as the first time. So, Friday morning came and I got a call from R&D that originally the same 2 guys were scheduled to deliver the fridge again, but after my message they said they would send a different set of delivery guys and I would have to wait until Saturday to get my replacement."
"How they are in business is shocking!! I would give a negative - NEVER USE THEM, rating. They were to deliver my washing machine yesterday. They NEVER called me before as I was told they would. I received a call that they were AT MY HOUSE and no one was home. I WAS home and the car was in the yard!! I immediately went outside and NO ONE was there!! THEY LIED and now I have to reschedule the delivery. They said it will be Dec. 23rd. Okay, fine. I have taken the day off (again) and I will be sitting on my front porch from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. (the targeted delivery time) waiting on my washing machine. Wish me luck...I have a feeling, I'm going to need it."
"After waiting a half of day for our delivery, I was called by the delivery driver who stated that he was in front of our building but had to leave, because of the no parking sign. I informed the driver that I was coming out and would show him where our parking lot was located. Instead of waiting for me the driver drove off and would not answer my repeated calls, placed to his company issued cell phone. I called the delivery company and voiced my concerns and was told that the delivery would not be made for today, even though it was the driver's fault. No accommodations were offered by the delivery company for the inconvenience and loss work time. To make matters worse, the driver lied, when he informed his supervisor, that I yelled at him and created a hostile situation. I did not have the opportunity to see or speak with him in person. Whatever happened to placing the customer first and meeting their needs. If the company wanted to do right by the customer, they would have directed the driver report back to my home even if it meant paying overtime. I also plan on contacting Home Depot, because this is the company that they contracted with.for their customers deliveries. The only alternative I was offered was to wait until Thursday, when another delivery is already scheduled, for my home. I can only imagine what that driver is gonna say or do, when confronted with the same parking situation. The delivery company must train and teach its drivers how to navigate around the parking situations in downtown Greenville. Deliveries should not be impacted or not made because of inexperience deliverymen or a lack of preparedness by the company. Reflective cones or other safety barricades could have been employed for this short time delivery . It should be noted that this is the same delivery company that delivered a stove to my home last week. And the driver parked his truck directly in front of the building. Kudos to those delivery guys, who was able to make the necessary adjustment to the parking situation so that they could meet the needs of the customer. And by the way, no parking ticket was issued. Deliveries are made to this building all the time and no delivery vehicle were issued parking tickets IP.S. it should be zero stars."
"Brad and Ricky did an excellent job delivering our range and dishwasher. Communicated via phone about arrival time and when they arrived both were courteous, professional and extremely efficient. Removed old appliances; ran through dishwasher and drain cycle to make sure no leaks; and cleaned up before leaving.Would highly recommend."
"I ordered appliances from Home Depot and they I trusted this company to deliver them. Once I received my brand new appliances the refrigerator and stove had noticeable dents. They proceeded to run the dishwasher but didn't stay for the full cycle. Once the cycle stopped and they were gone instead of draining properly he water drained onto my wooden floors. They were contacted immediately and they sent an inspector (Troy) out to document the damage who took pictures and blamed fridgidaire for the damage ( but reported back to R& D no damage at all). Frigidaire then came out to do their own inspection only to find out R & D didn't hook the valve up correctly causing the water to drain onto the floor. I called them repeatedly only to be dismissed and never received calls back from countless messages being left. This company has been horrible it's been 1 week and there has been no resolution to this issue my floors are now ruined and the water is now spreading to the living room hardwoods."
