"The team at Dills Food City treats their customers as family. Everyone is friendly and helpful. You have the option of self-serve checkout or full service check out. We always choose full service."
"I was kicked out of this store today because I had my 4 pound dog in her bed in the baby part of the buggy. One of the managers came.up and said I had to leave because I wasn't allowed to have my dog in there. She was not bothering anyone. She wasn't walking around on the floor. She was in her bed in the cart. I will never be returning. I will go to Walmart where they welcome us. When we go there or anywhere else people come up and pet her. This is why small businesses are dying and places like Walmart are putting them out of business. I would rather shop local. But I'll drive father now because I'm not going to spend my money in place where I'm not welcome."
"All of you people on here saying they have great deals is what is blowing my mind. I’m sorry but this is the most expensive grocery store I have been in (other than the ones in the small strip mall at the beach & they charge for convenience). What I will say is that Dills is a very clean and fully stocked grocery store with some really good quality meats. The staff on the floor are all very young with the exception of a couple (also young) veterans to the place. Not many of them are going to offer you a smile. They are more likely to smile and talk to one another. If you need help most of the time you will have to go find it and ask for it. They aren’t rude just not super friendly. What I will give props to is that kitchen. Those women in there work their tail off and they cool it up. Is so good. Bottom line ? Go around the corner to food lion if your in Royston and want to find better deals."
"I am handicapped and I used the scooter in store.when I got to register, I was having hard time getting my groceries out to put on belt for cashier, the young bag boy was bagging my groceries and putting in electric cart before I could get all of my groceries on belt to be checked out he was putting bagged groceries in cart. I raised my voice at him, he stopped and then he helped get rest of groceries out of cart.after he put all my groceries back into electric cart, and in my generation the bag boys would have offered to take my groceries to car, but know I call that inconsiderate and inappropriate.I enjoy shopping at Dills, but if I’m just # I can go to Food Lion. My neighbor came with me she has problems walking and both her legs are wrapped due to medical problems, no one even ask if they could help her out with her groceries. I am new to Royston be will strongly think about going elsewhere for my business. Sorry bad impression for new person to area."
