"Took my great father's pocket watch to them to be polished and engraved for my daughters wedding. They have had this since the first week in January I went by to pick it up today since I have said I would need it no later than the first week in May. It was not completed and was still in the bag I brought it to them in. Needless to say I now have a watch that will not be given to my daughters new husband. Never will I ever be back."

"I frequented Nathan’s before it was taken over by new ownership and it was in the old professional plaza My recent experience left me feeling that the current operation is very shady. I took my mother’s watch in to Get the battery replaced. An older lady with short hair give me a price of $6.00 dollars for a battery replacement and she passed the white back to heavyset man in the back of the room. we made polite conversation and she complimented my engagement ring. I told her it was an estate piece and she went on to say several complimentary things about it’s size and brilliance. The man called her over and said that the price had suddenly increased from $6 to $14. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a coincidence and that it had nothing to do with the perceived value of my ring. I stood at the jewellery counter and watched the man drop the battery from my mothers watch into a tray and then pick up a battery from the same tray. At no time did he open a new package of batteries. It was not a coincidence that less than a week later her battery died again. Bottom line : something about this store is dodgy."

"I first went into Nathan's about 2 months ago to repair safety chains on my bracelets. Price was reasonable. Promised in two weeks. Went in to pick up, repairs not ready. Had to make a second trip a few days later. 2/23/23,Decided to give them another try at having rings resized. Price was a little higher than I thought it should be, but I agreed. Promised in one week. Due to previous experience, I waited an extra week. First try, again not ready. So now we are going into 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I received one of the two rings back and the other would be ready in 2 days. We are now at almost 4 weeks and I still don't have my second ring back. I am not a happy customer! Once I do get the second ring back, I will not be a return customer, nor will I recommend his services."

They have a very impressive watch repair setup and I can tell that they put special care in to their work to make sure that watches aren't damaged during repair. I was very pleased with my experience and I will return here again in the future any time I need work done on my Seiko watches!"
