"Heartwood is a cute little shop in Saluda NC. Everything in there is nice, artistic, woodsy. They have lots of cool translucent glass, jewelry, wooden kick knacks. It nearly loses a star because it's pretty pricey, but I gander it's mostly local artisans, very nice things, and niche market/culture. The place has been there forever, I even bought my sister a bracelet there when we were in high school many years ago. She still wears it more than 20 years later."
