Jeweler's Bench

"I wanted to take a moment to brag on a small local Jewelry retailer. I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne Sexton, owner of Jewelry Jeweler's Bench in Greenville, SC. I went in for a quick alteration to a pendant/necklace. Wayne took care of my need while I waited. Wayne also is an avid collector of military/ first responder memorabilia and has most of his items on display for the public. If you’re in the need for anything jewelry related, this gentleman can certainly take care of you."

"I took my wedding ring in to get resized because my husband sadly had to cut it off my finger. The owner did such a good job!! He resized it which it looked rough when I took it to him. He also cleaned,re-dipped, polished and checked my diamonds. It only took him 3 days which I was so happily suprised and my ring is beautiful again!! Thank you so much!!"

"I was searching for a new jeweler when my cousin told me about Jeweler's Bench. She and her husband spoke highly of them and was happy after many many years. I took my wedding band and diamond in to them to be sized and was able to pick back up in a week!!! Wayne added a "hinge" to my diamond and added gold to my band. They couldn't have been more perfect in size and price. We have found our new jeweler. 100% happy."

"Guy inside, (never offered us his name), was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. Fiance and I went in to ask if he does inspections on any pieces of jewelry, and how much he would charge. We were wanting him to take a look at my engagement ring for us, and he acted as though he were totally baffled as to what an inspection was, or why we would want one. Totally blowing us off as though we were bothering him, and looking at us like we were stupid. He said there was no way to look at my ring and make sure the stones were what they were supposed to be, and no way to see that the setting was strong and secure- without having it appraised... Which he added, he doesn't do anymore. Stating it wasn't cost effective for his time. He also couldn't recommend an independent appraisor to us, siting that he doesn't know anyone to recommend. Now, this is all while he's trying to walk back into the back room of the store, obviously wanting us to leave the store. He then asked us, from across the store as we're about to walk out the door, how much we paid for my ring. When my fiance told him, he looked like he was thinking about it, and then said that the main stone alone was probably worth what he paid for the whole ring. And left us at that. We won't be going back, ever, for any reason."

"Had a setting put back in my ring. The owner did a great job and his work as outstanding! The new setting that was put in was beautiful and it has stayed in. He put the new one in and it has been well over the time the maker of the original rings stone staying power. He does good and sturdy jewelry fixes!"
