"if it was only the lrice thay was a problem. My 21yo picked up a bottle of rum for us when she was nearby for coffee. When she told us how mich it was we said return it right away; so less than a few minutes later she did. They would only give store credit. I went myself with her that afternoon, ans the subsequent two days, earlier each afternoon. The store was not open, no hours listed on the door. So after 3 trips to try and spend our credit there, we went ahead and got our money back via our chase card. Not sure what kind of shady place this is, but steer clear & FAR AWAY. There are 2 other nice stores on the island, much more reasonable& open daily, and for the hours they list on google maps."
"Rode my bike to this location to get something for around the pool. Was shocked to hear they didn't sell packs of nutrl seltzer then was floored at the $9 each price tag. I decided to buy local flavored vodka for $40. Was charged then the attendant says to me she didn't check my ID. I didn't have it on me and didbt think I'd need it as a 40 year old woman with grey hair let out. She voided the transaction and requested I cone back with ID. I rode back to the house and drove to the next available store."
"The vodka I bought I thought be a little higher, but I bought vodka normally $40. So I didn’t see any prices, they e mailed receipt charging $125.00. Several other reviews indicated the same. Don’t buy liquor here unless you want to throw your money away. She is ridiculous. Bob"
"Sea Pines Liquor Store is the biggest price gouging operation I have seen recently on our island! I went in today to pick up a bottle of Tito’s and the owner was charging double market price.. when questioned he laughed and complained about his rent! I want all locals to know about this so they can spread the word to avoid this place and head out the main gate where there are plenty of places where the businesses are not price gauging customers for no reason!"
