The owner not only makes the most (baked, not fried) delicate and delicious treats, but she engages with her customers, connecting with them by going out of her way to genuinely get to know them. I appreciate her telling us her story. Each sweet treat sold is done so with love and passion. So, next time we visit the island, we will make this the first stop onto the island and the last stop before leaving."
"Outstanding! Love, love, love, love The Purple Cow! We ordered 6 vegan and 6 regular donuts. My wife was in charge and got everyone's (me and the kids) order the night before. She emailed our order in around 8 PM the night before. We got an email about 1:30 AM that our donuts would be ready to pickup at 8:30 AM. Thankfully they had some tables and chairs in the front of the building and I didn't have to devour my donuts in the car. I would have tried and I would have made a huge mess. I just can't describe how good the vegan donuts were. Everyone loved their donuts! Very cool place, cool owner and the donuts are outstanding. My wife enjoys her Purple Cow shirt!"
"This was a fun stop on our trip and we tried lots of their desserts between the 4 of us. Our favorites were the chocolate chip cookie and the muffins. We got there close to closing so our treats weren’t incredibly fresh. The people that work here and the owner were incredibly kind and helpful. We had the best time chatting with them and they never made us feel like we were there near closing. The owner was prepping a s’mores charcuterie board for an evening event around the fire pit and it looked AMAZING! Fun place with a rich heritage."
