"It's been since April last year I've told Espy the four 3yo doors I bought from them are rotting. $12k between 4doors. When dude from espy came out (took 2mo calling) I said i should've bought from Lowe's. He laughed "theyre rotten". He Defiantly said espy buys The. Exact Same. DOORS. That Lowes does. That there is no difference. He was proud to say. It's another 6 mo, they don't return calls. Their "warranty " is they'll send you parts. They dont. It's another year. Buy from Lowe's or somewhere else that isn't claiming to be a lumber yard. At least they'll return your calls?"

"Be careful ordering custom wood doors from them. Every single door in my home has visible glue and the raw wood color visible inside all the glass panes. Very disappointed with what was supposed to be high quality, custom doors."

"I see a lot of mixed reviews; I can believe and understand all sides. Having been a contractor and worked in the building material industry, I've worked with distributors and supploers like Espy all around the country. Even large chains can vary extremely from location to location. It's all about the people, and more so the management. My experience with Espy HHI centered around Mr. Mike Bennett. He's diligent, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. I only ordered 2 windows as a homeowner, and Espy, via Mike was the only company in the area that made themselves available. My home will need a lot of other building materials in the future, and Mike is stored in my contacts for future use and refferal. As for the Espy location on a whole, I'd recommend ownership and management "Review their Reviews" as there is a definite pattern to many of the lower ratings. Some of the local businesses on the island are complacent but not all. There's No Excuse for complacency."

"I go to ESPY about once a week. Was there recently and left 2 fishing rods on a stack of plywood in the warehouse just before they closed. Realized 30 min later I left them and drove back and left a note for the team. Came in at 6:50 when they opened and they had my fishing rods safe and sound in their office. Absolute legends, thank you to the entire crew."

"Espy is a good company,however they have alot of issue within that store including benefits.Customer Service is definitely poor as they cater more to contractors but even with that it's all in who you know to get the VIP prices. As to work in the salesroom. I don't recommend anyone new young to work there because there's no growth within the company. It's best fit for Latinos and Caucasian or a African American male only. African American females it's very uncomfortable to work in the environment and your doom to the be the problem every time."
