"Great auction company. Very courteous and helpful staff. Best of great deals. Very well organized. Easy and fast pickups for auction items. Joann is a sweetheart and nice to talk too when I pickup at auction pickups.."
"This week was the first time I had bid with Carolina. They were having quite a few Amazon liquidation (returns and overstock) sales. The products from the first 2 auctions were fine, so on the 3rd auction I spent more. When my husband opened the (brand new) box of a sewage sump pump we had won, it was apparent that the pump was at least 5 years old. It was covered in raw sewage as well. My husband tested it to see if it worked and of course, it didn’t. We called the office to see if we could at least get a credit to use on the other auctions. They told me no because it was my fault because I didn’t schedule a preview. So I wrote a comment on their page telling bidders to ask for a preview and/or open boxes at pickup. They removed it. Then I open a bug zapper we had won. Same thing. Very used. My husband said it was at least 3 years old.Super dirty. And it didn’t even come with the bulbs so we don’t know if it’s broken. These items were totally misrepresented. And the lady at their office admitted that had we checked it at pickup, we would have received a refund. That is dishonesty at its finest!!"
"Thank you for doing my mom's estate sale and auction. I appreciate your getting me through this difficult time. The cleanout service you provided after the auction was amazing! My mom's house was ready for the realtor to list immediately. The home sold in 5 days. I don't know what I would have done without your service!"
"My husband previously left an honest review and I felt compelled to clarify Randal’s disingenuous reply to his review. Randal, I was in the room when my husband called you and I heard his conversation. It was friendly and he merely asked you whether you put plastic down on the carpet. When you said no, he said “no problem, we will handle it.” At no time did you mention any liability or problem. We certainly would never had done anything that would’ve caused you or us any potential liability. Our plan was to get the movers runners from Uhaul that professional movers put down to protect carpets and are rubber backed to prevent slippage. If you would’ve voiced any concern whatsoever, we would have just not done it. You never gave us a chance. We merely asked because our realtor had brought it up. As to any stipulations after the contract was signed, you must have us confused with someone else as we had none. We are firm believers in honoring our word and certainly a signed contract. We pride ourselves on being up front and honest. That’s why we called to ask about the carpet, we didn’t want to do anything without checking with you first. You have put us in an incredibly difficult bind. We had been so happy to find you and were looking forward to working with you. For any future potential customers please look elsewhere. Not only did they shock us by cancelling our signed contract for merely asking a question. They never gave us any answer that made us think anything was amiss. Then reinforced their poor business practices by accusing us of adding extra stipulations that never happened. The only “stipulations” (which were two items that stayed with the house and a reserve on one valuable item) were agreed upon prior to the signing of the contract. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the response wasn’t represented as it happened after being blindsided by the cancellation. Seems odd that all their one star reviews seem to be the customers fault. I’m sure this will be refuted as well. Consider yourself warned."
"Beware! We signed a contract with Jennifer for a sale that was scheduled for next week. Today I called Randal and merely asked if they do anything to cover carpet in high foot traffic areas. He said no to which I said, no worries we’ll get plastic and cover the main areas. Two minutes later Jenifer called and said we’re canceling the contract due to too many stipulations. I was stunned and ask what stipulations to which she had no answer. She said she’d call Randal and ask. A few minutes later Jennifer sent email saying contact officially canceled. I’m now scrambling, one competitor told me that Carolina backs out all the time. Beware!"
