"I got the fried pork chops, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. It was all delicious. Best pork chop I’ve had from a restaurant in many years. There is 2 on a plate and one is for lunch tomorrow. They are big. I’ll be back."

"The parking lot is kinda rough. They are always packed, which is a good thing. They could use a spruce up/ clean up in the place but the spur cream is good."

"This is my Grandma’s favorite restaurant in town. I have dined with her here a couple times when I’m in SC visiting. The menu has a large variety, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. My grandma’s favorite is their homemade pies and cakes. It’s always something different like last week’s mandarin orange cake which she enjoyed!"

"Building isn’t somewhere you’d stop without checking a review or being a local. It could use some updates and a good cleaning, but nothing that stood out. Our family had a good experience. Food was good and waiter was friendly. If we needed to stop in Chester for food we’d stop again."

"The food is so good. Excellent service as well! We had the fried green tomatoes, which includes their homemade dip (sour cream and hot sauce). Also had the chicken salad with fries- very fresh and tasted like food should taste. Nothing was overly salted or ridiculously seasoned. My mom had the hot chicken sandwich and she loved it. I met the owner and he was very personable. Everyone there was super friendly. The building could use some updates, but the food and service were stellar. Don't judge the building, go on inside and get some great food. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Chester!"
