"I was previously at this location years back when my daughter was young. I do have to say the people are OK but their customer service and sense of urgency really sucks. So when I moved I use the University location instead which has a much better experience for me. Fast forward five years later I had to move back to the same area, so I decided to utilize their services again thinking it would be better. However, I was definitely wrong. The doctors have you waiting 1015 minutes for a virtual meeting it takes five minutes. They don’t thank you for waiting or nothing. They need to understand how to value the patient or the customers time just like they have their time that is valuable. At this location I feel like I always have to follow up when it every other location they follow up with me to let me know what’s going on, next steps as well as getting a doctors note. It took me a whole week, and still waiting on a doctor now. And the owner of this location is the same for all six locations. Not sure why one location is worse than the other but hope to be home have gone down in experience. Either way there are plenty pediatric places to go to around here and this is not the best and the other reviews definitely have validity"

"Had been bringing my child here for 6 months and today was the final straw. My first visit here I asked about my baby blood type and she has the audacity to tell me I didn’t need to know that. Then when I told her about my baby constipation, she says that her baby went 13 days without bowel movement trying to convince me that is normal. Yeah right.And yesterday The doctor showed no compassion. I told her my baby wasn’t feeling well and they didn’t even bother checking her temperature. She then goes on to say my baby looks fine when clearly as her mother I know she didn’t look fine. I waited a long time for my miracle baby and I will not tolerate any doctors lack of compassion or interest in my child’s well being. Do not bring your child here."

"The staff here are so incredibly friendly, and Dr. Herwig always takes her time with all of my new mom questions (my daughter was a preemie, so I had ALOT of questions). Dr. Herwig is so thorough with her examination of my daughter, and takes her time when she's in the room with you. She came recommended through a friend of mine, and I'm happy that we chose Sweetgrass Pediatrics over some of the other pediatric offices in the area. Also, did I say how awesome the staff was?!?! They really are amazing. If you want your child to feel comforted and cared for during their annual wellness checks then this is the place for you."

"Brought my son in for his six month well visit/ immunizations. The provider asked if we wanted to give him the six month vaccinations we said yes. Three weeks later: we requested his immunization records for his daycare. Sweetgrass sent us a form showing he is missing one of the DHEC required immunizations for his six month visit. They never administered the 3rd dose of a vaccine that he is on schedule for - and they never told us they were not going to provide that vaccine. We called the practice to ask why and they did not have any explanation. So one of two things happened: either there was a medical oversight and he did not receive the vaccine that he should have, meaning he is in danger at daycare without this vaccine/ we are breaking SC law by sending him to daycare without proper immunizations AND he has now missed the appropriate time window to receive this vaccine per the vaccine schedule OR there was a clerical oversight and he did in fact receive this vaccine, but it was never noted in his chart putting him at risk for an immunization overdose now when we DO get the vaccination (from a different provider of course). Either way, sloppy care from the provider and/ or administration team. Cannot believe they would provide such a lack of care towards my infant. Beyond frustrated and would never return to this pediatrician, would NOT recommend."

"I was excited to use Sweetgrass Pediatrics for our newborn but am highly disappointed in their treatment with vaccinations. We took our 6-month old in for his 6-month checkup and vaccinations and found out a month later they did not provide him with all of the standard vaccinations at our appointment. Our daycare requested vaccination records and this is how we had to find out Sweetgrass dropped the ball. I contacted them and they had no answer as to why this was an oversight. Will find another pediatrician who pays closer attention to detail."
