"I rarely leave negative reviews. My initial visit was lovely, from walking in the front door to leaving. I felt the empathy and the friendliness of the staff and the doctor was exemplary. After my procedure, however, I had 3 weeks of severe complications. After a phone call to Dr. Bayuk’s nurse, I was told that the pre-procedure caused a shock to my body because of my IBS (this was my 5th procedure of this type). I ended up in the ER because of 4 days of excruciating pain. They referred me back to Dr. Bayuk. I called again and his nurse said that everything was perfect and the doctor referred me to a bariatric surgeon for a surgery I had 16 years ago! The nurse even canceled my follow-up appointment while I was on the phone with her. It has been over 2 months and I’m still not back to “my” normal. Yes, he is friendly and kind until there is a problem. I would recommend him to no one. Don’t even get me started on his failure to get the procedure preauthorized through my insurance, which is what I am dealing with now. I would give his front office 5 stars, however."
