"I was very disappointed on how things were handled at this pediatric office. They are very rude and very petty. She refused to see my 4 week old son that had an awful cold because we told them we would be switching pediatricians in a few weeks once the new office had an opening for new clients. So I had to beg the new pediatrician to see us to help him and they helped us right away and said it wasn't uncommon for this pediatrician to act that way when you want to leave."

"I called to see if they were excepting new patients and they aren’t which is fine but when I told them that we had seen Dr. Sims when my son was a newborn but ultimately went with a different practice due to our needs at the time I was told that since I decided to switch they would never accept us back. Her words were “even if we were accepting new patients we wouldn’t take you back. If you didn’t like us then, you won’t like us now because we haven’t changed.” I understand not accepting new patients but to blacklist someone because they made a choice to see another doctor is just silly. I liked Dr. Sims when we saw her the newborn visit and the only reason we switched was because I felt like she offered more practical advice then I wanted at the time as a new mom. How disappointing that they would turn a family away for what seems like a very prideful reason."

"I wouldn't take my child anywhere else. Dr. Sims is not only thorough but gives you her full attention while being seen. I've never had any issue. If I have more children, they will come here too."

"I went for a well baby visit, the staff and Melanie have no people skills, she talked down to you and everyone was very rude. I tried to let her know that my 6 month old was throwing up his formula and it made him consipated and that i put him on milk and foods. Which he was keeping down and very happy since I switched him and she first threw in my face that she was a physician and that my baby would have so many problems. I took somewhere else and the doctor was very happy with what I had done for my baby. Would not recommend taking your child to Melanie sims ."
