"Underwhelmed. I changed to MUSC for a better level of care and service, big disappointment. I cannot get into to see my doctor for any urgent need, all my requests are turfed or addressed by LPN w/out primary doc input - I didn't sign up for a family care doc, but that's who I see more than anyone and then it's virtually or drive to an urgent care location. Terrible communication - ask for phone calls and get email response - which if I am not sitting on and waiting for, can completely get missed or I get a response a week or so later. I am taking my business elsewhere and changing health care organization & providers to meet my needs not theirs."

"One visit Dr was great . Then I get billed for close to 900 dollars for my visit. I have insurance but they never filled it. Now if they don’t soon I’ll have to pay it. I needed test for concerns I’m having. Now I can’t get things because I might have to pay this off. I already felt bad and was stressed and scared about my health. Now who do I see , and I keep calling for months , but no help."

"This doctor is not worth mentioning his name. He couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my mother for months. Finally he did tests that resulted in his asking her to immediately go to the ER. We never heard from him again. Then, she was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, stage 4. I called him, and he NEVER called me back. Last Tuesday my mother who is the most important person in my life died of complications at MUSC. Do you think I have heard one single word from the horrid human being for a doctor? NO. Nothing. Nada. Bigelow is the worst kind of doctor that I have ever come in contact with, and am shocked MUSC has him on their staff. I highly with every ounce of my being beg anyone who is contemplating taking him on as a doctor. Do not do it. He does NOT care. He has no compassion. He has no heart. My mother died by his hands, and he will have to live with it if he even cares."
