"I have never had a worse experience during a medical examination. It was my first time receiving a pap smear and I was not informed what to expect at all. The nurse that came in before Dr. Heinemann barely engaged with me, rushing me to get undressed for the pap. I was not informed that there would be multiple people in the room during my pap smear, which was extremely jarring for me. Dr. Heinemann rushed the procedure and gave me as little information about what was going to be done to me as possible. She went to examine my breast without warning, then when I stated that this was my first pap smear and I did not know what was going to happen, she simply replied with "you'll be fine!" and then tried to continue with small talk as I kept asking for more context. She then inserted the tools into me without warning, causing extreme pain. I immediately notified her that I was in a lot of pain and that I needed it to stop, to which she responded "you're doing fine." I then said again "no, this hurts really really bad!!" and her response was "you're almost done!" I have never felt more violated. I was moved to tears by the level of pain. She then completely ignored my emotional state, asked something general about my prescription, and then left. I will not be seeing this doctor again."

"I highly recommend Dr. Heinemann. She was so incredibly helpful and listened to what I had to say. She was super clear in all her explanations of what needed to be done, what was going on with me, and what might need to happen in the future. The staff were all kind and helpful too, especially the nurse that was in attendance while the doctor performed my Pap. She held my hand during the Smear since they tend to be painful for me. Doctor Heinemann even managed to perform the Pap Smear with the least amount of pain I've ever felt during one. She's amazing."
