"As a resident of the Island since 1997, I have used May Electric many times, and each time I regret it. This last time was a $800.00 for 2 floor outlet replacements, and includes their add on fees (job set up fee, clean up fee, 3% credit card fee, etc) . I will never use them again since its all getting the most money out of a customer. They could care less about any customer and could care less about repeat business. There are too many good electricians out there that are reasonably priced and not as rude as these people are. If you need a recommendation, just let me know."

Lester at May River has done all the new electrical for outlets, switches, HVAC, etc. Living on Daufuskie always adds a level of complication, however, May River has always delivered when they said they would. They even purchased all the items we needed like outlet boxes, switch plates, canister lights, etc. It was completely one-stop shopping. When I needed to add something after the fact, Lester was completely responsive and understanding. "We recently had several small(ish) projects done by May Electric. Mark came out to the house and took the time to look at all of the work and listen to exactly what I wanted. He also took the time to explain what could be done and how long it would take. Once all of our lights and fans had arrived, they immediately got started. Jeff and Jimmy handled all of the work and tackled some difficult issues without missing a step. They took the time to think through the problems so there was minimal damage to walls and ceilings. They also took great care inside the house and cleaned everything up after each day. The cost of the project was quite reasonable compared to other electrical work we had done during some earlier remodeling. I've been extremely pleased with everyone I've dealt with and the results.
