I originally sought the services of Danny Quirk (Daniel Quirk, Jr.) because he's a fellow Citadel graduate. However, as we have worked together on my federal taxes over the years, I've gotten tremendous service not just from Mr. Quirk, but also from the rest of the amazing team that he's a part of. Long story short: my yearly tax grind is a combination of submitting Taiwanese taxes and then reporting both Taiwan-sourced and US-sourced income to my dear Uncle Sam so that he can have "my tax dollars hard at work!" My returns are surely a bit challenging: various Taiwanese university employers and banks, freelance teaching and copyediting income, etc. Veris CPA's crew is always timely and thorough.
