"Got my laptop and printer here. Really wish I would've went with my gut and got the other laptop I really wanted but still happy with mine now that I got from them. And printer having a lil hard time connecting it to my computer. Didn't come with Any type of instructions what so ever. I also order couple shirts for me an I never got them cuz they said they were out they didn't have any sn was backordered. If that was the case they should've had that said on the website when you click on that item so no one's ordering it expecting to Recieve them and only come to find out if you email them you didn't receive it otherwise they don't even tell you or send a email sending their regards. Overall tho I like them:) although they do price their items a bit too pricey if you ask me that's for sure cuz they like to charge an item that's how much at the store but at their store you see it's 2x-3x's the price it originally costs anywhere else..."
"They have nice people working in there, but I would check the prices of books other places before buying here. Several times I've found a book new on Amazon for hundreds of dollars less than the book store charges."
"The building is a little hidden, but it's a great bookstore. It's clean, organized, and everyone is helpful! Major shoutout to Fariba Ebrahimi for all she does for us students!"
"Simply atrocious. This is a place where the staff feel they're doing you a favor by being there. They told my son he HAD to purchase all of his textbooks for both Fall 1 and Fall 2 before the semester even started. When we tried to return the books for Fall 2 shortly after that because my son changed his major, it took 3 attempts over 8 weeks... and, they were rude. You would need a can opener to get an answer out of these people that is more than three words. They are not helpful; they are not pleasant. They do not understand customer service at all. As parents, we send our children away to school thinking that the school we selected cares about the students and their best interests and would do them right. It's obviously not the case here. Seeking other alternatives, we decided to try across the street at Textbook Brokers for our Fall 2 text books. They offered us every possible solution we could ask for. They gave us great instructions on book rentals, book purchases, if we needed a book with a code or without one and how to return the one with the code if we didn't need it to pay a lesser price. They answered questions we didn't even think to ask at the time. Additionally, they saved us $125 on just two books... and they take financial aid. I would encourage people to check out other sources and if you have to use the Trident Tech bookstore, make it a last resort."
"I have no idea how the supply manager has managed to keep her job. Our instructors will give her notice months in advance about what textbooks they'll be needing and how many per student count, yet somehow everything is almost always on back order. If you speak to her about it, she will to spin it into somehow being your fault that you haven't gotten your books. She literally asked me why I hadn't picked up my books when the database she had opened while I was speaking to her said it wasn't in stock. This was after coming to see her multiple times in person where every time she would take my number and email address and promise I would receive word from her with a "you are my priority." The staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I don't even understand how any of the other reviews here can say otherwise. They tried to overcharge our class for some textbooks that, when ordered, were $20 cheaper than when they finally arrived. Oh, and and if you call about an order status, they'll transfer you to the backroom where no one will answer the phone or call back. Yes, they have voicemail. If they're not rude, they're incompetent. They can't answer simple questions like, "who can I ask about [textbook/online code]?" If Trident wasn't hell-bent on having their students purchase books/codes "tailored for Trident Technical College" and constantly having the departments get new editions of their required texts, then I'd recommend using Amazon or the Used Textbook store down Rivers Ave."
