He has provided expert guidance regarding handling business and personal taxes as one working virtually, with a business in another state. While preparing my 2021 business and personal taxes and conducting a routine review of the previous year’s return, he found errors that concerned him so much, he went back to 2018 and redid them all. This has resulted in a refund of $20,000 from previous year’s returns. He has also guided me into updating my business’s bookkeeping and payroll systems to platforms that will be more streamlined, economical, and time efficient."

"Ted Orban was a delight to work with last year .He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in answering any questions about our taxes and went above and beyond in helping us save money on our Schedule C preparation. Great experience working with Ted . About a month went by and we did not receive our Federal returns. I went online and checked and they did show up. I called the IRS and found out to my surprise that our Federal return had not been filed at all so I went to the H&R office to see what had happened. Ted was not in the office so my husband and I were directed to Frank Grant. He looked into our filing and explained that a mistake had been made and our Federal returns had not in fact been filed and explained that this was a mistake on the part of H&R Block. We paid $482 for our 2017 filing and Mr. Grant apologized profusely. He then went on to say that since it was the fault if his office's mistake that there would be "no cost" to file our 2018 taxes with H&R Block to compensate for the not filing of the 2017 Federal returns. This year when we returned to file our 2018 taxes with Ted at the same H&R Block office I brought up what had transpired last year after he was out if the office for the season . My husband and I were told by Mr. Grant that he "notated on our account in the computer that 2018 costs would be paid by H&R Block. While we're we're filing our extension with Ted, I mentioned this to him and he told me he saw no notes in the computer made by Mr, Grant but said he would check into it. I had to miss our return appointment due to a bad cold and sinus infection .He told me he spoke to Mr. Grant and said there would be a $100 credit towards our bill for 2018 filing which is not what he initially told us. He said, "2018 filing fees will be on us for our mistake.". This week he denied ever having said that, lied directly to our faces by stating he made notes in the computer and in fact did not and offered us $100 off 2018 filing fees. I told him I was utterly astounded at his dishonesty and would report him to the BBB and State Attorney Generals Office at which he laughed at me and I simply hung up the phone. I am appalled at his behavior and total lack of ethical business behavior."
