"Do not go to Helen if you want true and factual information being relayed to everyone in your case! Helen provided false statements stating that she could not work with us due to an unwillingness to follow the classes but failed to mention her regard in the other party failing to cooperate/want to schedule our sessions. Helen also only deemed one party the aggressor when in every session she had to stop the other party from their demanding behavior and parenting traits that weren’t acceptable to her. None of this was mentioned. Only placing blame one-sided. In my initial classes with Helen, she acts like she is listening but circles back to make inappropriate comments about looks of either parent. She commented to the father that this is why you don’t procreate with attractive people if you don’t know them. She inappropriately complains if you wear perfume and loves to get off track to talk about her personal experiences/life. Helen stereotyped me in the beginning after our intial class together (Mom+Dad) assuming I was Mexican, proceeded to show me her dia de los muertos cat in her office going on to me about, oh youre going to like this and when I stated I wasn’t Mexican, she quickly was afraid and stated that’s not what she implied at all but I felt discriminated/stereotyped. I don’t recommend her services if you want to be heard/truthful, helpful information to come about as this is important and relevant for families. Protect yourself if you are summoned to using her as a therapist. As soon as you both (parents) sit down with her she asks if you are recording because she has gotten in trouble before for what I believe is providing intentional false information. Why would you be afraid of sessions being recorded if you practice legally and truthfully to the best of your knowledge."

"I was looking for assistance in being able to better communicate with my daughter during a difficult time (involving family court that I sought and requested). I spoke with her one time, and she fell asleep during the video visit call she was nearly 40 minutes late for. I still held out hope because I was desperate to look for guidance. Later after attempting to call her and gain clarity on my situation (when not having another visit after months) I received a troubling email from her that even confused and worried our attorney and ad litem. Later my child flatly told me that Helen printed off a private email I sent her regarding concerns and my attempt to look for direction and they openly mocked and criticized my concerns and labeled them controlling. Everything from having 'find my phone' and sharing a library card was labeled a form of control that my child (14) advised Helen completely agreed with and possibly suggested. I of course cannot confirm this since she didn't meet with me again, except to say it sounded similar to the email she did reply to me with. She was removed from our case and replaced with a different therapist. Confusing, traumatic, and troubling don't begin to explain the concerns."
