"DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS - THIS IS A HORRIBLE & DECEITFUL BUSINESS - look at other reviews before proceeding. Paid $6,200 for a motor, cables, prop and control - motor arrived 3 weeks late (after M&W failed to crate the motor properly) and was severely damaged (again due to improper crating), they sent wrong controller and no propeller. After attempting to contact them several times, they stopped answering their phone, stopped answering texts, their voicemails are full and Dave Wilson even hung up the phone on me saying that he was in a meeting. Unfortunately Kyle is learning from his father's mistakes. What a shame he can't do better. Unbelievably bad service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. I received 2 cables and a side controller in January after reasoning with Kyle. It’s now February 2022 and issues are still not resolved. Never received a propeller and ended up with a badly damaged motor for $6,200 - what a rip off !! Horrible business. For what it's worth, Kyle seems like he's trying, but his father Dave is clearly challenged (perhpas unstable) and therefor highly unprofessional. Do not use this business. Go elsewhere. February 2023 - I paid $200 to have the motor tested at another marina. The engine is comprised of many other motors and parts and was shipped to me missing the MAF cover and oil tank. Kyle knows that he's not honest (even admitting he sold me a piece of junk) and now is just ignoring my request for a refund. Kyle is now ghosting me, taking after the bad habits of his father David. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! THEY ARE A FAMILY OF CHEATS AND THIEVES! Owning a boat is already very expensive and to have a business rob you is DISGUSTING! May 2023 - Still no call/text from Dave or Kyle….no effort to reconcile the mistakes. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING! February 2024 - Still nothing from Dave or Kyle. I can only hope this post is helping others stay away from this business! Terrible people praying on others. Disgusting!"

"I purchased a used motor from Dave at M&W Marine. Dave did not give a warranty on the motor and advised that the purchase was as is. However, Dave seemed to be an honest man and told me that the motor "would be right" when I got it. On my first launch the motor gave me an oiler warning alarm. I called Dave and told him the issue. Dave told me to bring the boat back to him. After making a couple adjustments, The boat is running great with no alarms. Dave did not charge me to correct the issues. I am very pleased with the motor purchase and the work that Dave and his son did. I will definitely use M&W for all further boat motor issues."

"Mr. Kyle Wilson installed a 2016 Mercury 150 HP XS Optimax Outboard on my Triton TR20 Bass Boat. I purchased the outboard off Ebay at approximately 60% of its retail sales price. He installed & tested it on Lake Hartwell for $1,500 which included a $500 multi tasked digital Console Device proprietary to Mercury. I'm happy as can be with its performance. I didn't know Kyle before hand but I now consider him a business friend. I'm sincerely appreciative of Mr. Kyle & his crew as they were hospitable to me & my guys each of my 4 visits. He worked on my (3 pontoons Tri Toons) custom made boat, as well. He is a master at getting older outboards operational where nobody else will even take them in house!
