"I was with my mom when she was transferred to this facility from the MUSC Health formerly Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg. It was on a Friday evening , early November 2023. There was no one there to receive/welcome my mom as being a new patient there. We waited for about 30 minutes for someone to place her in a room. The staff there is not professional at all. They are under staffed. There was 1 nurse for all patients there in the evenings. I was always told we have ordered the meds but they haven’t come in. So she was getting them late or not at all. Also , The hallway leading to the back door stinched with poop. I came through the back door twice. The odor was horrific."

"My Experience at Edisto is one of Best. I work there as a Nurse and thought he work gets tiring, overwhelming, and my legs hurt, it’s all worth it in the End When I see the smiles on the Patient’s faces when I come. The Hugs, and the affects of Love and care that I give. I would say, Edisto could use more Nurses help, but a Great Place to work. The HR person Meagan, is sweat as Georgia Pie, and would do anything to make sure your work experiences are well taking care of."

"I am a very recently retired Nurse Anesthetist. I have been a nurse tech, and ICU nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. With 39 years in health care and 30byeqrs of that in anesthesia the facility where my mother in law is rehabilitating from surgery extremely clean, updated and the staffing are very professional. She actually loves being at the facility. It is refreshing to know the great care she is receiving. Thank you!!"
