"Two stars for the front staff, five for my therapist. I have an ESA dog. I called to see if I could bring her. I was told yes. My dog is still in training, and barked at some people outside. I was then very rudly told, in a very loud voice, in a waiting room full of people, that my dog needed to shut up, or I had to leave. I was then told that only therapy dogs are allowed in, not by the staff who told me I could bring her, but they told my therapist to tell me. Please tell me how that is conducive to a person who comes to a mental health facility for help, only to be embarrassed, chastised, and made to feel unwelcome. Perhaps they should pay more attention to the type of people they hire, to deal with people with mental health illnesses."
