Reviews of New Beginnings Palmetto, LLC
"I am with Teresa and so far loving it. She’s very sweet, understanding, calm and welcoming environment. I have left both times with weights off my chest. Look forward to uncovering more!"
"I took my 5 year old to Rosa. Worst mistake ever! I stopped taking him due to her not allowing us in the room. Just him and her. I said he's 5! No further appointments made but she still took us for 2 payments of $95 each. Called and Rosa who owns the place won't give us our money back! Worst practice ever!"
"Please seek other therapist NOW. Today we had the pleasure of speaking with Mrs. Rita who was very unpleasant she spoke with my husband originally and he was upset due to her being short & having the worst demeanor. We saw Kim she was great she advised during the intake it was our choice to continue with her and that they do take our insurance. We scheduled our next session all was great up until the call from Rita who does all the scheduling per our conversation. When I called in I didn't get a hello this is so an so. She immediately went into explaining why we can no longer see Kim as she does not take our insurance and Rita believed that she advised this to my husband prior to scheduling. And advised because he requested first avaliable she booked us with Kim. Why would we want to be self pay? Why would we ask for a therapist that isn't going to be capable of seeing us from intake on. Clearly there is a disconnect on their end. Unprofessional unpleasant and very bad to seek help through when people are in need of therapy having to speak to someone like Rita will deter you from wanting to be reassigned to another therapist. Why is it that not every therapist takes BCBS Why wasn't this explained fully by Rita who originally scheduled us. She was aware of our coverage/provider because my husband was originally going for himself. She did advise my husband that they'd have to write the original intake visit off because of the mix up. Again we had no control over this she set us up and didn't do her due diligence in giving a great experience and now we have to do this process over again. I wish I had read the reviews prior as I probably would have saved us the hassle as I see this Is quite normal behavior from this office and it's employees. My advice again seek other help elsewhere."
"I went here twice. First visit, the therapist was late. Initially, it seemed to be going well. There was a mix up with the next visit and I had to have it rescheduled, which was fine. I sit through the 2nd session, only to be told at the end that our next session will be our last because the therapist is going to another practice. She didn’t even offer for me to continue with her there, just told me she could refer me to someone else at this office. Who takes on new patients, acts like they care and then takes off?? I canceled my last appointment, because it’s a waste of time. I think this is really unprofessional and you need to take into account the “why” in people coming to talk to someone. This is EXACTLY why people don’t want to open up, especially men. It took a lot for me to make the decision again to talk to someone. This place right here, proves that these individuals with fancy letters after their names, could care less about you. Truly sad."
"Rosa has been nothing but warm, kind and empathetic towards me since our first session. She is a great listener, while also making sure to summarize what she is hearing from me and offering helpful suggestions pertinent to my personal situation. She is open-minded, positive and encouraging with her counseling techniques. I am very grateful to have found her."
