"I recently sold my house and hired Crawl Space Solutions to address the mold and moisture issue in my crawl space. They did a great job! The house passed reinspection and the inspector wanted to know who I hired to do the work because he was so impressed with the transformation they had performed. It definitely went from rags to riches and they didn't break the bank to do it. I referred them to my mother n law and she is using them for repairs on her house."

"I contracted with Crawl Space Solutions (owner - David Ahrens) to remove foam insulation from my crawl space in August 2023. He did not perform the agreed work and strung me (and my wonderful tenants) along for nearly 5 months. Mr. Ahrens' lack of communication and repeated no-shows created significant inconvenience, forcing me to chase him and repeatedly apologize to my tenants, and resulted in delay of the reinstatement of my termite bond putting me at great financial risk. I've lost count of how many times Mr. Ahrens said he would have people there working and they didn't show. No proactive communication about progress or inability to meet a promised date soon deteriorated to lies and ultimately no response at all. That is, until I phoned him from a different number and lo and behold, he answered...then more stories, excuses, promises and no-shows. Also, Mr. Ahrens informed me in November that he had to refund my original 50% deposit due to a "bank account issue" and requested that I re-send it via Western Union (!) or PayPal. Of course this was a major red flag, but believing (what turned out to be a lie) that he had completed approximately 40-50% of the project already, I decided to go ahead and re-send it to the company PayPal account in the hope that he would shortly finish the work with the new tool he'd supposedly had made. It never happened and despite repeated requests over the last two weeks, my deposit has not been refunded. (I've escalated the issue to PayPal.) In addition to this review, I will post my experience on NextDoor and FB in the hope that others may learn from it. I wish I had not chosen to focus on the positive Google reviews of Crawl Space Solutions when I was researching companies last summer, discounting the negative ones that are so like what has since happened to me. Please don't make the same mistake. (I recently engaged another company to do the project and it is underway now. I will write a review when it's complete, but so far they've done a great job of communicating and meeting commitments.) NB: I have texts, emails, phone logs, witnesses and dated video of the crawl space to support the above."

"They did a great job for me. I highly recommend. Ive been using them for years and have been very pleased with their services. They encapsulated our crawl space about 5 years ago and it made such a difference in our house. The were very thourough during the work and matter of fact the pest control guys each year tell me that this is the best encapsulation they have ever seen. They follow up each year to service the dehumidifier (Lord knows I don't want to go under there). And the cost of there service was not as high as most of the others."

"I contacted several other companies for waterproofing our crawlspace, and they all have gave astronomically high quotes without even stepping foot into our crawlspace (They walked around the outside of the house. Hmmm?). David surveyed the entire crawlspace, explained what he would like to do and why, and gave a very fair quote. He was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and I am very pleased with the work his team did. I would highly recommend!"

"Had an appointment to get a repair quote needed to close on my first home. Time is already of the essence in my situation and the guy never showed up to the house at our scheduled time. I took time off of work to be there. It would have been better if he at least reached out to say he couldn't make it. I really hope the guy is OK! I do not recommend depending on this company if you don't have time to waste!"
