"Three stars, and that's being generous. This store promised a lot with a massive collection of toys, but the experience left much to be desired. The staff's rudeness was off-putting, and to make matters worse, there wasn't a single Lego in the store despite boldly displaying the Lego logo on the window. As an adult, it might not be a big deal, but imagine the disappointment for a four-year-old who knows the Lego logo but couldn't find any Legos inside. A bit of a letdown."
"Nice toy store, I picked up a few items for my daughter, they have a nice selection of toys here. Looking at other posts, it appears that a lot of folks have had problems with the store service in the past. Just to comment both items we bought were functional and didn't need to return. Also, management of the store seems to be trying to fix issues as I see posts below to resolve issues. I'm hopeful they've successfully resolved the customer concerns !"
"I’ve been going to this store for years and recently had a very poor experience with one of their staff. I went with my mother and when we walked in, the cashier was on FaceTime with her mask below her chin (this was during Covid). My mother politely asked her to pull up her face mask and although she obliged, she rolled her eyes at us and continued to chat with whoever she was talking to on FaceTime. We left the store without purchasing anything. I contacted the store and requested to speak with a manager. Lilia (spelling?) contacted me but that conversation was equally as upsetting. I like to support small business, but I won’t be going back."
"We went in and bought 4 things and when asked for a receipt I said no that’s okay. my sons snorkel gear was broken when he took out of the bag 15 mins after we left so we returned and asked to exchange and or refund. We were told it was my son‘s fault and also because I didn’t have a receipt she couldn’t return it. So disrespectful and unprofessional nobody should ever buy anything in the store. She wouldn’t print out a receipt for me or go back in her system. Completely unreasonable and ridiculous. I would give us zero stars if I could. Never buy your children anything in the store."
"Long story (bear with me!)! My 7 year old daughter purchased a product from this business, with money that she had saved up. The product was a hair dying kit, containing four spray bottles of various colors. We attempted to use the bottles the night that she purchased them, however, 2 of the bottles did not work. I returned to the store the following morning with the two bottles that did not work requesting to exchange them for new bottles. There were still five boxes of this product on the shelf that morning. The lady at the register (Lindsay) informed me that she could not return the product unless I had all four bottles. My daughter could not find the receipt, however Lindsay ensured me that I could do an exchange if I came back with the entire product and told me the owner would be working later that day. I returned later that same day with my 7 year old and 2 other children. I brought all four bottles back, along with the original package. I went to the register and the man said to me "we don't sell this product, I can't exchange it." I ensured him that they do sell the product, that my daughter had purchased it the night before and I went to show him where the product was located in the store, and all the boxes were taken off the shelf! (There is no way that five hair dye kits were purchased in a six hour time frame, he clearly removed the product from the shelf). I told him that I had been in the store earlier that day and was told I could exchange it. He responded by saying "I know you were here earlier today and I am not returning this product". At this point, he is badgering me and other people in the store are watching. I told him that I wasn't interested in my money back but just wanted a new product or store credit for my daughter. He proceeded to rip a toy box out of my three year olds son and tell me that he is calling security to have me removed from the store. There were at least 15 people in the store at the time, all of which left right after the incident and made comments to me about how awful the man treated me. I was left with a product that doesn't work, but even worse, my 3 children upset because they thought the police were going to come after me. I could careless about the $15 for a silly hair product, but for a small business owner to treat a customer that way is astounding. I am all about supporting local businesses, but not at this store. Buyer beware of this store!"
