"Would not recommend this provider. Technician that came out for warranty service was unfamiliar with my refrigerator. Spent less than 10 minutes and didn’t even check. Said he would call manufacturer and get back to me. I called two times for follow up after not hearing back and got the runaround. Called the office and the person answering the phone was rude. She called me back and basically said I was not telling the truth. Appliance still isn’t fixed."
"The worse service ever. Charged us $99 for coming out to take a look at the refrigerator. They came out asking us to defrost our refrigerator and said would come back in 2 or 3 days to diagnose it. After we left everything out for 1 night, the next morning they called saying that it would take a while to order parts and tried to hook us up with another refrigerator they are selling. WTH!!!"
"Called and made an appointment to have a dryer fixed and the person who answered was so rude we almost decided to call back and cancel and not give them our business since they didn't seem to need/want it. We were able to fix the dryer ourselves so called to cancel appointment and a different person who answered hung up on us. Used Corbetts many times over the past 20 years but will NEVER will use Corbett's again."
"We called and got an appointment to look at an oven light that was flickering. The oven light was off when it should be on; however, when you fiddled with it, it would turn on - sometimes. Finally, it ceased to work and we called Corbett's. I called on a Monday and was given an appointment Wednesday between 10:00 & 3:00. This was fine as the repair was not needed immediately. We waited all day and did not get a call when the repairman was late. We called at 3:30 and was told he was running late and also called at 4:00. The repairman came and hurriedly looked at it diagnosing the problem as the switch on the oven door. He did not look at the light bulb. *** FULL DISCLOSURE *** My wife did not suggest he look at the light. (I was gone.) Here is the ***BEST*** part of Corbett's! I called the next morning and (believe) I smoke to Mr. Corbett (whoever it was he said he was in charge) and told him of the issue and I would appreciate it if someone would look at the light itself. Without a problem he immediately said he would speak with the technician as soon as he got in. A little while later I got a phone call from the technician saying he would be back. He didn't specify a time, but that was OK because I assume he was "working us in". He returned, looked at the light, quickly diagnosed the problem as a shorted out socket, and made the repair. Because of the technician having to come back some might rate the service lower; however, ***EVERYONE*** makes mistakes. The issue isn't that a mistake was made, it is how the mistake was handled. Corbett's handled the problem without a hitch. No argument from (presumably) Mr. Corbett and no attitude from the technician. Thanks much Corbett's!"
"Lack of professionalism here is staggering. Have been waiting over a month for a part that the repairman himself broke out of negligence and my client is being charged for "because they've spent so many labor hours sending people out." Has taken well over a month and $600 for what should've been one service call. Called in this morning to see the status of the part we're waiting for, only to be told "if you ain't been called we're still waiting." As a property manager I've never felt compelled to write a bad review for a vendor but good lord do not use these people."
