"Any sales rep that says “do you still want to have that baby?” to your 7 month pregnant wife should not have a job in sales. Especially after quoting unethically high prices... Absolutely ridiculous. Please note this review is being left right after Fix-it 24/7 bought Barrus, so this is a review about the new company. Long story short: their price for a new 3.5 ton system was $18k. We are about to buy a similar system from Oceanview for under $9k. Their price was DOUBLE. Add to that: the sales guy sat at our kitchen table and had the audacity to say they “know the industry” and their prices were competitive and hard to beat. And to top it all off, he ‘joked’ to my 7 month pregnant wife “do you still want to have that baby?”"

"I’ve enjoyed working with Barrus Heating & Air on multiple projects. Bill is very analytical and technical-minded; he carefully considers our building envelope and installs equipment to fit our custom, high performance homes. For example, on a 2600 square-foot house with 6 occupants, average total gas+electric utility bills are below $140/month in the summer, mostly thanks to the Mitsubishi VRF system Barrus H&A designed and installed. I will work with them again in future projects and would gladly recommend them to anyone. They are honest and transparent, and do great work at a good price."
"Two young men showed up on time, went straight to work removing old HVAC system. When removal was complete they installed the new system. I was given detailed instructions on using the Smart Thermostat. They worked appropriately 4 hours, cleaned up all debris. They sent me pictures of the unit installed in my attic, great job! I highly recommend Barrus Heating and Air! Prices can't be best!"
