"We recently had our 2018 GMC Sierra Transmisison and module replaced. Upon picking it up we found the truck to be barely driveable. We brought it into the dealer where they identified many mistakes with the work done and had to completely re-do the project. We have emailed and phoned many times with no response. We will be taking action to recover the money paid."

Tried paying $1000+ on a Maxima for what I thought needed a rebuild. Chris told me to do a module in the transmission instead and parts and labor was less than $200. Any other shop would've just taken the money and performed the service. I'll always remember that! Wish I could give 6 stars."

"Slawson was the only shop that could get me in same day every other shop said next week. Of course I chose them for speed and convenience, but after having my car at there for over a week with no update I decided to take it elsewhere. Upon arrival my keys were laying on front counter for just anyone to pick up, not away with the rest of the keys. I got to my car, and it was also left unlocked for just anyone to get into out back. This alone was enough for me to not recommend them. I'm only leaving 1 star because Google won't let me leave 0."

"I had no transmission service done here. I got there at closing time and the owner was leaving the shop. He stopped his truck and got out and proceeded to try to diagnose my issue (on a friday). He even took my jeep out for 10 or 15 minutes with me and worked it a little to find issues. After all this he said i did not need a thing. He did not push for services that were unneeded or charge me for his help. The owner is a very genuine, kind, and overall just plain honest guy. All this when he was about to go home. Any future transmission issues or rebuilds i need done WILL BE DONE HERE. * P.s. My father had his hummers trans rebuilt by him and he was very satisfied with Slawsons work. *"
