The Tech Shack

"I’m a student at Clemson and recently for some reason my screen on my laptop completely stopped working. While I do believe the guys at the Tech Shack are knowledgeable and probably can help most people, for me they screwed me over. They ordered the wrong screen 6 times, and what should’ve been a three day process has now turned into three weeks. I have exams, homework, and other stuff that I now have to travel to campus everytime I want to work on something because of the Tech Shacks mess up. They claim there is nothing they can do but I wish they would have told me that initially so I could’ve found other options instead of delaying me for multiple weeks."

"Sent an elderly friend here today that was having trouble with his laptop screen being dark. He was prepared to purchase a new laptop from your business or leave his laptop to be fixed. I recommended your business because of the high Google reviews. The person that helped him on intake, pushed a dimmer switch to lighten screen and then charged him $25.00!!!! For less than 15 seconds of service? Totally ridiculous! I have sent other folks to your business but will tell anyone that asks in the future to go elsewhere! Again-totally ridiculous!"

Prices or reasonable and mainly he does a great job and it doesn't take him long to do it I give him a 10 thumbs up if I could but he is a good one to go to and he's also very trustworthy and that's a good quality to have"

"I brought my laptop to the Tech Shack for a new battery. They promptly removed the battery, ordered the correct replacement, notified me within a few days of the new battery’s arrival, scheduled an appointment, and installed the new battery as soon as I arrived. They were prompt, knowledgeable, very courteous, and I felt the price was reasonable. I’m delighted and relieved to know I have a reputable computer repair place nearby."

"Excellent service at a great price! They did great work and they did it quickly. The young woman at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this place to anyone! They do charge a diagnostic fee of $35 which is actually much cheaper than most other places. They also give discounts to students and veterans."
