"The store itself is laid out well and very clean, as expected. The customer service is where the fifth star was earned. I came into the store to purchase two suits about two weeks before moving across the country. I knew I would need significant alterations made (I always do), and Mark (manager) and James (tailor) went above and beyond to front-load my order so I could take one with me. Fast forward to two days before my departure and a final fitting of the first suit. There were some changes that still needed to be made. We discussed having them made as available and then shipping the finished product to my new location, but James went above and beyond to make the changes immediately so I could take it that day. To top it off, Mark reimbursed the alteration fee completely on his own accord. It was clear that the customer is a priority in this store, not just from my own interactions but also from how the other employees engaged with their customers. If and when I return to Charleston I’ll be stopping in for sure and Mark has definitely earned a loyal customer for Brooks Brothers."

I recently attended a trunk show at the King Street store and purchased a custom sport coat, custom shirting and custom tailored dress slacks. The fabric selections were outstanding, the staff and tailors were super knowledgeable and the final product was an exact fit. Absolutely the best quality at very fair price. Hats off to Mark Coffee (the store manager) and the rest of the Brooks Brothers King Street staff. Thanks to everyone...I'll definitely be back this fall for some cool weather clothing!!!"
