Wofford Theatre

Wofford Theatre, located at 429 North Church Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is a transformative institution that aims to prepare individuals to live a life of creativity and engagement. Rachel Kearse, a graduate of Wofford Theatre with a major in theatre and psychology, discovered a passion for costume design through various internship experiences in theatre. She has since worked as a freelance costume designer and at the Columbia Children's Theatre, showcasing the practical skills and creative mindset instilled by the institution.

With a diverse range of productions such as "Agamemnon," "Cabaret," "Circle Mirror Transformation," "Pride and Prejudice," and "The Rocky Horror Show," Wofford Theatre offers a dynamic and enriching experience for students. The institution also provides a variety of courses and programs in business theatre, dramaturgy and playwriting, event planning, film and TV, law, medicine, production management, and theatre arts.
