"Happy to find a bagel place that brings a piece of home (boston/Philly) to the south. Soft bagels, good coffee, great service. I do wish there was an option to add a sauce to my BEC cause it felt a little dry. But the honey and rosemary iced oat latte was unreal"

"Fantastic food and staff! We were in Charleston for a few days and stopped in this morning for breakfast on our way out of town. It was a little bit busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food, which they brought to our table when it was ready. The food was awesome- I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was SO GOOD. Definitely not a cheap place to eat but the price is well worth it, and they don't skimp out on the fillings- I could've easily split my breakfast sandwich with someone. The dining area was also very clean. Not only was the food great, but the staff was also phenomenal, particularly the person working the cash register with cool jewelry that called everyone "friend". The moment I walked in, I could instantly feel the good vibes they were giving off and creating in the cafe. Well-spoken, courteous, and kind, they were a great face of the establishment. To that employee: you're awesome, you deserve a raise, and I wish you all the happiness in the world. I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in Charleston again!"

"Yum yum yummy! We had the lox on garlic Bagel and pastrami on rosemary & salt bagel, soo good and fresh! Also had a honey lavender latte and mocha latte. Very fast and efficient team working as it was packed and continued being packed the whole time we ate! Lovely staff as well!!"

"One of the best bagels I've had in Charleston. The texture of the bread was good, the pastrami was plentiful, and the jalapeno cheddar bagel was delicious. I ordered online for pickup as this restaurant is very busy on weekends. There is a small parking lot across the street for Holey City customers. The iced latte I ordered was also good."

"I have been obsessed with Holey City Bagels since I discovered them during my freshman year at The College back in 2018 at the farmers market! I could not recommend a bagel shop more. This place is hands down THE best bagel shop in Charleston! The owners are super friendly and their service, food, and staff never disappoints. I will always bring someone here if I have people in town visiting because they can’t possibly miss out on a bagel sandwich like yours!!"
