"I had a late appointment. I came early being respectful of the time. I sat waiting and being the only person in the office I could overhear the conversation that was unfolding with the person getting their taxes done. At that moment, I realized there was probably a chance being the last appointment that it would not be able to be done. I got my appointment rescheduled for the next day. That morning I called to see if there was an earlier appointment and there was. So I showed up early being respectful of people's time only to be told again they're running late but because I was there early the 30 minutes would only push my appointment back 10 minutes. Upon saying that I would wait, I was told that there was still someone even before me to get done which means that my appointment was going to be done even later & not 30 minutes rationally deducing from the chronology. I told the front desk that I would just go to another location. Upon which I was told just to leave my taxes, which the whole reason why an appointment was scheduled is because there was a question as to how my wife and I taxes needed to be filed. This the sole reason while I was there. If it were something that were simple, I could have just done it online through their online services. I've used h&r block for many years. No longer will that be the case! It's not like they're paying you to come in. You're paying for a service which keeps their doors open & your need ascertained. Then to have your time so pushed to the wayside when you're being respectful of the business's time by coming early twice. No phone calls no heads up no NOTHING can leave someone pejorative to say the least. It's peak tax season it's YOUR bread and butter YOUR strike while the iron is hot time."

"Did my taxes almost 2 1/2 weeks ago they telling there system has a glitch due to 1095 paper and not sure when they will be able to tell me anything 20years of doing business with them.. I find this crazzzyyy"

"I’m a disabled vet and was asking about how that affects my taxes and the lady acted like I was lying. She did 2 years of taxes for me and the one from last year the state still has not received. Weird “southern” vibe going on in there. I felt disrespected and they did not do what they were paid to do."

"Had an in office appointment on 4/1. I uploaded all of my information online prior to that appointment, and when I showed up, was told I did not need to be there to watch the HR Block representative ‘type for an hour’. Thought that was great at the time. I followed up twice a week for a status update after that and had to call in 3 times on 4/15 after I figured out that I was probably forgotten about. I received a call (and a jumbled voicemail from a random person that my taxes have probably been thrown to last minute) finally at 9pm EST on 4/15 (the second to last day to file) stating that they are unable to download one of the documents that I submitted online. I also brought said document to the physical appointment on 4/1 and handed it over to the Hr Block representative at that time. Absolutely poor customer service. I have at least 7 calls unreturned and many messages in the online HR Block portal unanswered since 4/1. I understand that 4/15 is a busy day, but I had all of my information in well in advance and was told not to worry. Unacceptable, and the only reason I went to this HR Block location is because they had good customer service reviews and I needed a little more support this year than I had previously received at Turbo Tax. I can assure you that there was ZERO customer service at this HR Block location, and now with a day to spare, I’ll be scrambling to complete my taxes with Turbo Tax. Do not request for me to call to speak about this - I called at least 7 times only to be told I would receive a call back that day that was never received. Those were the opportunities to speak and your job done. Take this as an opportunity to treat someone better in the future that is trusting you to get your job done correctly and on time."
