I finally got tired of waiting for them to do the right thing, changed preparers, and paid the stupid balance. I HATE being on the IRS mailing list...I am a "by the book" tax filer!"

"We initially engaged this firm to handle our business filings in December of 2019. It took until March (the filing deadline) to actually file anything when I had to scramble to get to their office to sign and complete the process. They were also contracted to help with monthly filings for sales taxes and other items. Most months were behind or late and responses to any questions took an excessive amount of time. If your CPA tells you to file an extension they are either too busy (not enough staff or too many clients) or don't care. Extensions have potential consequences. When we spoke with a partner about our issues with the assigned CPA we thought things were smoothed over (but wErE aLL bUsY) but the issues persisted. They weren't the worst but for thousands of dollars a year you would expect more. Insurance companies are more responsive."
