Broughton Street Cafe & Ice Cream

"Great coffee shop! I stopped by with my son the way back from a hockey tournament in Charleston. Latte was top tier, he really liked his hot coco and the bagel/cream cheese was perfect too. Oh and he liked his blueberry muffin and I had a slice of my first key lime cake! Service was friendly, place super clean and the location was good as well (and easy parking). Will be back on our next visit in the area!"

"Breakfast melts are amazing! I had mine with turkey sausage, and it came with grapes. The coffee is quality. The atmosphere is super relaxing, smooth jazz playing, art on the walls and the cafe is decorated for Christmas. Sorry, I forgot to take photos but trust me the food is delicious. Great spot to chill."

"I love getting off the Interstate highways and visiting these lovely historic towns that have been left behind by the HIGHWAY TRAVELLERS. Orangeburg is the home of USC but the downtown area seems a bit deserted. Fortunately for me, and the people of Orangeburg, this CAFE has opened up to offer locals (and we lucky visitors) some delicious baking and locally-sourced fabulous coffee (and as a frequent visitor to the USA I have not been impressed with much of the coffee I have tasted on previous trips) in a bright, artistic and comfortable setting. Daily baking delights totally unfitting for any diet) are sold out quickly because this café has a reputation for delectable desserts. This place is definitely on my route for the next time and, in addition, the drive between the I-26 and I-95 is soooooo much prettier ....and SAFER!!!!!"
