"They don’t deserve a single “star.” I am so disappointed these folks actually have over 4 stars on Angi’s List. I should’ve known better when I called the listed number at noon on a weekday and a woman answers, barely awake, and no recollection of our conversation on Thumbtack. Total con artists. Paid them $525 (after original price was $400) to install 2 ceiling fans, 1 vaulted ceiling fan, and 4 outdoor lights. Pretty expensive I thought, but want it done and done right! They did not finish the job, completely stopped responding, and told me “I’m not paying his bills or laying in bed with him at night” so I “could not demand anything from him.” 100% do not use. I gave this man grace, despite his being nasty and unprofessional and offered him multiple ways to make it right. No response. Absolutely horrific experience and waste of money."

"Unfortunately, I can not recommend this couple. They visited my home to discuss some yard work, gave an estimate, received a deposit of half the total estimate to book their service. They arrived and started work on a job they told me would take most of one day. They stayed for one hour and then left, texting to say they'd gone to rent equipment. It is now 20 days later and they have still not returned. Apparently there was a medical emergency, for which I can offer patience and cooperation. However, they have made no effort to let me know what was going on. I have requested that they keep 1/3 of the deposit for their hour of labor and return 2/3 of the deposit to me. I've had no response to that request. I'm now concerned that they simply found the work too demanding and quit, leaving me out of pocket $288. The lack of communication leaves me uncomfortably wondering about their honesty and good faith."
