"Ballroom in Motion with Teena Marie and Matt was my Happy Place. My first time going to a Ballroom in Motion dance I cried. Teena's Mother was my first person at the door experience she seemed to really understand. Teena took me under her wing with all my mental health and Between Teena and Matt I was able to function and thrive in thier BIM family environment. Matt in pvt lessons helped me eventually relax more and feel. Ballroom provided me a passionate creative outlet where I thrived within thier Ballroom dance welcoming creative challenging family environment. Matt and Teena welcomed me with open arms, challenged me and I felt safe with sharing my mental health struggles. Matt is absolutely amazing instructor. He encouraged me to feel, to relax, be challenged etc. Matt and Teena were my anchors. I am so Blessed to have been a part of Teena and Matt's Ballroom in Motion. Ballroom in Motion are my family. I would never have experienced all that I did without Teena and Matt. Thank You from the depths of my being for everything you both have done for me. Ballroim in Motion with Teena Marie is extremely generous with giving back with their time to the community. Ballroom in Motion is absolutely the place to be for Ballroom dance in the CRSA. I whole-heartedly recommend pvt lessons and classes with Matt and Teena at Ballroom in Motion. Most definitely the place to be hands down."
