"My husband and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about LMDS. It's really special to be able to find a dance company that is bold about Jesus, too! Hoping to have our sweet girl dance with this company for many years to come!"
"This dance studio was our first pick out of all the other companies in town. After viewing the performances all together at the same event, I can honestly say that I feel even more confident and assured that both my daughter's are in the right place! I can also see the growth on both my daughter's abilities and I know for sure that my daughter earns her spot. This place is like home and the staff is definitely amazing! The costumes are classy and all dance are pleasant and age appropriate. The recitals are always amazing and well put together even when there may be a technical difficulty beyond anyone's control. Tickets are cheap to purchase for all families. It has been a joy being with LMDS"
"My husband and I greatly appreciate this dance school - and especially the owner, Teresa, and how she can very naturally and patiently influence our (sometimes a lil' headstrong) 3 year-old daughter to do the things she needs to do in order to cooperate, listen attentively, learn lessons and values that go well-beyond coordinated dance steps, and build character, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. We've witnessed a significant positive change in our daughter since beginning classes (at age 2) not all that long ago with Teresa and other teachers, and were in complete awe at her courageous recital performance! Thank you for helping to bring out the best in our daughter Teresa and team! We love and appreciate everything you do! :)"
"Honestly my daughter loved her class and her teacher Ms Katie. However, before I signed my daughter up I emailed and asked how religious this dance group was, we are not religious and didn't want my daughter being exposed to religious teachings that are beyond her 5 year old comprehension. I was assured that they do pray before recitals and are Christian based but that's about it. However nothing could prepare me for the 30 minute opening dance in which the owner a women in her late 60's early 70's was the star of and which also had multiple grown men the oldest who looked about 65 dancing with girls as young as 11. The dance was a religious story of Esther, featuring the young "maidens" dancing around a king... an adult man...if i wasn't so horrified it would have been comical. This "recital" was held in a middle school gymnasium with folding chairs, literally almost every song was a praise and worship song, the owner made multiple speeches dragging this show on for FOUR HOURS. The show started at 2pm and my 5 year old didn't preform until after 6pm. Basically I spent $80 on recital tickets to sit and watch 4 hours of cultlike dance performances while my 5 year old sat in the back coloring. In my opinion this studio should focus more on the students and securing an appropriate recital theater and less on "merch" and the stroking of the owners vainglorious ego and self praise. The small children should have preformed first and been released, the Esther dance and all the other dance company performances should have been at the end and optional to watch as most people had small children who were restless to leave. If you are not a religious person I would not recommend this studio, if you are a religious person but appreciate the art of dance I would recommend attending one of these recitals before signing your child up, almost all of the dancers looked exhausted and had zero light in their eyes. On a side note, the dance pamphlet states the ballet was based on the historical account of Esther. There is no historical evidence supporting this."
"this little studio is awesome! my daughter is 2 years old, she loves it! classes are constructive and help her exercise learn about God while having fun, feel pretty and confident, make new friends and learn to really dance and tumble. Ms. Teresa is very patient and the class size is about 12 girls with 3 adults. They do great things with the kids, it's a blast! the prices are very reasonable and everyone is so nice and considerate. We've also watched the older girls and the way they preform is amazing. The amount of awards they've won is also impressive. As a mom and a fan, I recommend this for all ages. My husband and I are looking into ballroom dancing too :) there's something at this studio for everyone. We look forward to it all week. If you're thinking about signing up, I highly recommend them. Just call and they are so helpful to answer any questions you have."
