"I found a little stray dog a few weeks ago. Couldn’t find the owner, so I took him to my vet where they did a heartworm test. Of course he was positive. I was so sad because I knew I couldn’t afford the fast kill treatment and I was so afraid of how he would respond to the treatments. (I have always been told they were highly toxic). I emailed PAWS to see if they could help in any way. They said they could neuter him but they weren’t sure at the time what else they could do. When I walked in that day to drop him off for his neuter I met Dr. Sanders. She had amazing bedside manner and really put my mind at ease about fast kill treatments. I was moved to tears when they told me I wouldn’t have to pay a dime. These treatments mean so much for my little foster dog. He now has a real chance at a meaningful happy life. He is doing very well and we are so thankful to Dr. Sanders, Dr. Goodson, their team of Vet Techs, and all the staff at PAWS Anderson."

"Man. It’s tough. I get why people didn’t give a 5 star rating. BUT, we have to remember what they are. A shelter that is doing so much to help animals. I went in yesterday to donate some dog food. Left with a dog… “Houston” was a stray who had an infused right front leg. Sadly they had to amputate it. However he is such a good boy. The staff made sure he was a good fit for, my family, kids, and our dog. We had 3 staff members come see us to make sure he is going to a good home. Not only were they amazing to the dogs the staff was amazing with my kids. Big shout out to Payton. She was awesome and you can tell she cares about what she does. Thanks for our newest 3 legged friend."
