SOAR, located at 800 Main Street in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is an institution dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through Special Olympics sports and recreation programs. Our mission is to provide opportunities for social interaction and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for everyone in our community. We partner with individuals, families, and local agencies to support people with disabilities in living, playing, and participating in the community. Special Recreation at SOAR offers a variety of Special Olympics programs such as tennis, equestrian, bowling, track & field, swimming, bocce, basketball, pickleball, kayaking, and golf. Additionally, we are developing new opportunities for social activities for special needs individuals of all ages throughout the year.
