"I have been a parent with GCA since the start. I have one son that graduated last year and one son that will graduate this year along with my daughter have 2 more years to complete. I have personally witness this school grow and strive to meet each student on levels that would never have been contemplated at the local school level.. The staff and faculty here at GCA constantly keep the parents in the know as to what is going on at the school by emails and by text message. "I and my family are very happy with the staff and the teachers. They absolutely foster an environment where education and attaining one's personal goals are valued over the often overblown faux social environment found at most high schools. It has been stated and reinforced, the students are attending a preparatory school, and education comes first before anything else. Whatever teething issues that might have happened in the first year of operation seems to have worked themselves out. Our daughter is in all honors programs and is set to advance towards her Associates Degree from Midlands Tech. The teaching staff have been more than helpful with tutoring, and they have been more than ready to discuss our daughters education and how they can help to achieve her goals. The school counselors have also been exceptional in their willingness to help with class changes, and ensuring our daughter has a schedule and class environment which is conducive to her learning. If you are serious about your child's education, and you want to see them achieve an education level which would set them two years ahead of their peer group, then this is the school for you. If you need a place to park your junior truant, then I suggest you look elsewhere."
